  1. Yea thats about right around $6 per box of 50 is about .12 cents per round but much better than .21 cents per round . Thats using coated lead bullets if i use regular lead bullets it drops to around .08 per round and thats paying $150 per 5000 for primers $20 per pound of powder pick up brass and the bullets are $43 per K
  2. These are some major loads I have worked up for my Glock 35 with a Lone Wolf barrel Federal SP primers and Bayou Bullets. All power factors are are averaged over 6 shots. Bullet 180gr Powder 4.5gr VV N320 OAL 1.15 AVG PF 178 Bullet 180gr Powder 4.6gr Winchester WST OAL 1.15 AVG PF 177 Bullet 180gr Powder 4.6gr HP/38 OAL 1.15 AVG PF 171 They all shoot well and are very accurate. I suggest you try your own loads though each gun is very different. My barrel does not have a comp though it is set up to run USPSA Limited.
  3. Check your price input if you are paying $115 per k for primers I feel for you .
  4. I load 9mm for just over $6 box of 50 with coated lead bullets even with VV powder if you go with a cheaper powder it drops to under $6 a box of 50 so yea with the cost at WalMart of $10.47 for a box of factory ammo it is worth it
  5. I load 9mm .40 and .45 each for under .10 per round you can go to handloads.com and there is a calculator you can use to figure out yor cost . The time issue is not an issue for me I enjoy reloading it's a good way to clear your head
  6. I just bought VV310 due to seeing it being relatively popular and need some load help for a start point I use 230gr Bayou Bullets so I would appreciate any help with this
  7. Just got some 310 and was wondering what is the OAL with a 230gr coated lead bullet

  11. In Squad 1 and can't wait will be my first Gator went and watched last year when I had first started shooting USPSA and got the fever
  12. I started reloading this year with a 550b and have already recouped my money that I spent on the equipment I load 9pm and 45acp and see significant cost savings also like some of the other people said I enjoy it
  13. Shoot with what you have I shot my first few matches with a G23 until I tried some other guns and found one I liked then bought it
