Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. After I found my glasses and reread your post I see I misunderstood.but The only thing that registered on my brain (not enought room for a lot of information there) was the last part. I see now that major for moonclipped gun is at 165 and major for a speedloader gun is (whatever is decided). But we want to go a step further to include 7 and 8 shot, and open revolvers to their fullest, or at least see if it is feasible and to what cost. So if you are in the OKC area on the first Saturday in Oct bring it down so we can get some viable data. Film at eleven. later rdd I would love to do this but I sold my beloved 8 shot to a FREIND of mine
  2. Not trying to be argumentative (actually, it's just natural), but why would I have to shoot in Open class with my Limited guns? and YES, my HML app will be in the mail next week. michael If Heavy Metal doesn't make a Division, we'll give you options, per outline in the above post. If you don't declare otherwise, the RM can put you in a suitable Division. Open Division is default if you start the match without declaring. Look at Rule 6.2.5. and sub's. Look forward to receiving your HM entry, and hopefully enough will follow to make it happen. Bruce Ther are 2 of us out of OK. gonna shoot HM Iron sights
  3. I am the rented MULE I will pay my $190.00 and shoot Limited and Heavy and I have never shot iron sights in a match. As long as I have been shooting this game I have on rare occasion ever won back what I spent.Beats the Hell outa sittin at home wishin ya hadn't been such a tight ass and went ahead and shot regardles of Prizes and who wants to miss Tye playin with somebodys Ass or Bennie remarkin "dickhead"!or Kurt loading Left handed quicker than the eye can see or Trapprs wisdom. But as CocoBolo said I will have had fun by the end of the day and gathered much knowledge, useless or not
  4. Then you will be a perfect match with Jesse, after I beat the pants off of him at the match. Oh hells no you didn't, now it's on homeboy!!! I guess I better wear some panties though just in case. Jesse,it's gonna be kinda hard to beat Mickey when your wife glues your manhood to your leg with nail glue and swells your shootin eye shut after I see her and tell her what your pet name is for her
  5. Thanks,Your recipe was right on the money, shot North Texas Sectional today,8 stages,250 rounds in the mud and no ammo problems, and my wrists and shoulders do not feel like they were beat with a baseball bat
  6. Thanks,I will try it.I am using n320 but having to use 4.7 to make PF.Clays is to dirty for shooting lead
  7. Any body tried N310w/230gr. lead bullet in a revover .If so what was the recipe, looking for 165pf.I have seen it somewhere but can't find it.Vit list one but is for 45acp semi auto.I can work from it but was hoping for some input
  8. Since it is a Sunday match we could just shoot it,pick it up and you could score later.I get all of the prize money anyway!!!!!
  9. I have had a 650 since 2000. It started crushing primers so I called tech services and they started sending parts untill it was fixed at no cost to me.The last time they sent me the whole upper mechanism for the shell plate and told me if this didn't fix it send it in and they would rebuild at no charge,I have not paid for "1" broken part in 10 years including a burnt up case feeder motor that I burnt up my self and I told them I burnt it up. I hav owned a 550 and a 1050 also with the same warranty
  10. Looks like you an I have much to learn from Mitty and the round gunners!!!!!!As far as the SHORT STROKING goes I think the 5 shot skip got ya at the ICOR match
  11. E-Mailed David Hyden in Arkansas and he sent back that Optics wil lbe allowed in Heavy Metal Unless you name is Benny Hill from CC Texas!!!!!!! Curly
  12. I have shot in rain, mud, cold and snow and all in the same day,but I can't remember mud that would jerk your boots off and the only thing on your mind is a carwash so you can wash off your boots so you can get to the shoestrings to pull them off. That said,I thought for a first time match in conditions that "HUMBLED" even the seasoned 3gunners, they put on a damn good match despite the glitches. As for as their match director,he at least had the forethought Saturday morning to rearrange the stages to cut down on as much caos as possible and in the end did not have to throw out any stages!!!! If you think he was so bad call and volunteer for next year!!!!!!,this goes for RO's also. The prize table was as good as gets, everybody got sometning.I had a great time and hope they have it around the same time next year. With some good suggetions and a little help and little or no brow beating,I am sure it will become a match to return to. CURLY
  13. The cowboys had there land run last weekend and cut a path in to the trees,so this week Matt made pigeon holders for the swingers.SO! there will be pigeon swingers, pigeon floppers and steel through the woods to Granma's house.Matt and I were chastized by the black powder shooters at the board meeting(not directly but by insenuation) about brass onthere new gravel,OH WELL better to ask foregiveness than permission so there will be 100yrd on black powder range with new mgm flash targets. The weahter men are predicting 80 degress and light winds. Now would be the time for you fair weather boys to come out and play Curly KURTM sure gonna miss ya
