  1. Shot doesn't shoot worth a flip from a rifled barrel.
  2. If'n it take Remchokes that is what I would do. I've had Guncat do a 870 Marine Magnum for me and that is what I had him thread for.
  3. If I understand this correctly it should only be this list of parts. Paragraph © defines the following parts as "countable" under the law: (1) Frames, receivers, receiver castings, forgings or stampings * (2) Barrels * (3) Barrel extensions (4) Mounting blocks (trunions) * (5) Muzzle attachments * (6) Bolts * (7) Bolt carriers * (8) Operating rods (9) Gas pistons * (10) Trigger housings (11) Triggers * (12) Hammers * (13) Sears (14) Disconnectors * (15) Buttstocks * (16) Pistol grips * (17) Forearms, handguards * (18) Magazine bodies * (19) Followers * (20) Floorplates * These 20 items are referred to with the term "compliance parts". There are lots of other components that go into a weapon, but there are the only ones that count in terms of complying with the law. So its my understanding that you would need 10 of the parts listed above to be made in the U.S. Not gonna happen. The CZ won't have all of those 20 parts cause it sure doesn't have a floorplate.
  4. My big brother has one of these for ducks. He hasn't had any trouble with lighter loads either.
  5. One thing no one mentions is the extra cost and headache to add the required US Parts to the Benelli to satisfy 922r with the extended mag tube. I know some folks think its nonsense but it should be mentioned. The FN doesn't need those extra parts.
  6. Do you think one would be better off to get the 26" now and do the conversion or wait for the 22" Tactical coming out? The 26" would probably be a better choice if one still wanted to use it for hunting but wouldn't be as good if used for HD too. Has anyone compared the safety button on these with the regular 870/1100 button? Wondering if a Vang Comp Domed Safety would fit. I too would rather avoid any issues with 922r and imports. Even though all I would really like to be able to add is the extended mag. Now that you know that the Benelli Stock can be made to fit the Versa Max do you think the Versa Max stock could be used on the Benelli? If so it could be used to satisfy the 922r issues for folks wanting to run a field stock. Thanks.
