Im pretty new to reloading. Anyway I was out at the range today and had a couple rounds not go into battery. When I looked at them they appeared to be almost bent looking. I checked the rest of them and some looked the same way just not as drastic, but they fed into the cahmber just fine. Am I crimping too much? Thanks for any input. pics of the rounds

Im interested in upgrading to a 2011, (Ive been using a Glock 34). Im looking at the STI Edge .40 probably from Brazos. Will these run on factory ammo? I dont reload, but hopefully this winter I can get something done. Is there much for parts that wear out in these? How often do you need to clean them, are they pretty finicky. I see quite a few "race guns" at the range having issues. I guess Im not interested if it doesnt run 100% all the time. Also I see people at matches cleaning mags a lot and not loading mags till they get to the range. I usually load my mags a day or two before, do the springs wear out easily? Any other critisism or advise you can give would be great, Thanks

Both my friend and I are on the conditional shooters list. If there is any way we could shoot the match in a one day format we will come. otherwise there is a very slim chance we would attend.
