Looks for Range

Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Over the last couple days(while floating down the river) we came up with the idea of a Rimfire/Centerfire Challenge. I wanted to give everyone here in the MO forum a heads up on this. We are looking to do something a little different than what we have done in the past. The Rimfire/Centerfire Challenge will consist of 4 stages run over the course of one day. Shooters may run the courses using a rimfire pistol, rifle and shotgun or they may run the same stage using centerfire pistol rifle or shotgun. The only difference will be the shotgun plates will be replaces with balloons or stationary clays. We will open this to 100 shooters. These will be scored using he Lewis system with an ABC Rimfire class and an ABC Centerfire class. The entry fees will be as follows Rimfire $30 Centerfire $30 Shoot both for $50 Shooters will receive shooters pack and match T shirt. Prizes will be based on donations. Rimfire shooters won't need to bring a thing. All ammo and firearms will be provided. Rimfire shooters are welcome to bring their own guns and ammo if preferred. We are looking at the third week in July––Who likes it HOT!?!?! Sign up Here: http://cmmginc.secure-mall.com/shop/?cat=183
  2. Couple shots from the match and link to more. Match Photos Here ....and we got to a have one of Larry "That One R.O." Wayland--Can we get a round of applause for Larry?!?!?!?!?!?!??!
  3. I am terribly sorry we missed this. Here are the scores for the Sunday Shotgun match. We will get the prize money mailed out this next week. 4. Well, we ran into a situation we weren't ready for. We didn't have a good program for these events and multiple people scored them. With that many people doing it and 2 of them in particular being on the road all of the time, it made things tough. We are terribly sorry it took so long to post this. Obviously next year, we will put more emphasis on this. Next year we have an endurance team event on the "Armageddon Range" planned that will be way different. 5. Sorry we are not able to get the scores posted before the weekend. We have had to do a lot more catching up than anticipated. Will post and mail out prizes as soon as we are able.
  6. Havn't got those posted yet. It probably won't be till Friday till we post and send out prizes for the team event. We are still playing catch up.
  7. More to come.... Link Today was a blast. Have a few hundred more pics to link from today but I gotta eat first. Can't let BBQ ribs go to waste!
  8. There are a couple low spots but there is no movement where there is water. I suppose it is not too late to set up a side match in a nearby pond. I think that would sufficiently replicate last years conditions
  9. To get everyone warmed up we held an RO/friends/family mini-match. You may note the the small bright green safety boxes for firearm transitions. We wanted to give this a test run. Thanks to all who provided input. We always welcome it. Here is a link to today's mini-match
  10. The rubber boots are optional this year. I am pleased to announce that it only poured rain on us three times today and all three times we were able to return to work without getting muddy. Seems since last year, someone invented 3" gravel and drain tile.
