My limited guns are set up to lock back in case I ever decide to shoot L10.

I get a similar mark on ejected rounds. I believe the bullet is striking the slide somewhere while ejecting.

You have to look at it from a work stand point. The same amount of work is done, with more or less powder depending on the bullet seal in the barrel.

I dump my spent primes in empty power jugs.
All I need to do is find a scrap yard.

I like HS6 and autocomp for 9 major. I get less dot movement with HS6.

It is interesting that is seems like a clean cut. I had a 1911 fire out of battery and it was a ruff tear.

I have had this issue when depriming 9mm cases. The case hangs up in the press. I assume hot loads.

I get more consistent velocities with SPM primers. They burn hotter longer. If I remember correctly, the are about 5-10fps faster than standard primers.

I backed the trigger over travel screw a 1/4 turn and it works! I guess the double action needed just a hair more travel.
-
If I pull the trigger quickly, the hammer will fall in double action. If I pull it slowly it will cock but not fall.
-
I installed the CGW disconnector but now the hammer will not fall in double action. Single action seems fine. If I press down on the sear cage while pulling the trigger in double action, the hammer will fall. Any ideas?

I shoot with my thumb on the saftey so it can't pop up.

I like the Brazos lightning rod. The fiber is always the same size and intensity regardless of orientation to the sun.

Would I be best served with two, one for 40 and one for .223? I am mechanically inclined and youtube videos are a great resource.

I get more consistent velocities with small pistol mag primers. I assume they are burning all of the powder.
I haven't tried small rifel mag yet. I would expect similar results.

I am thinking about getting a 1050 to load 40sw and to process 223 brass. How long to swap between the two?
-
I wet tumble with turtle wax car wash. The cases come out shiney with a slippery coating. Loads smoothly in my press.

People that wear suspenders don't like runningThe match should have had at least one 32 round field course.
I dont wear suspenders, or kilts.

1-3pm depending on the number of shooters and stage reset.

I am thinking about this for limited, SS and production. Minor for production.

It was rain free Saturday.
Xtreme Heavy Plate Bullets and AET barrel
in 10mm/40 Caliber
Posted
My aet barrels will not group well with extreme plated. I tried different crimps, over all lengths, 165 and 180s, and different powders with no success. 1 in 10 goes through the target side ways. They aren't even good enough to practice with.
Lead, Polly coat and jacketed are very accurate.
Having said all that, extreme plated shoot great in my standard twist barrels.
