[Tripp Mag Springs: Number of Coils?]

I have a few of the nine round 10mm magazines. The slide pulls the top bullet forward and prevents the magazine from dropping free. Do you think the 14 coil spring will put more tension on the bullets and prevent this issue?

I have Tripp 10mm mags. I am using these mags in a 40S&W 1911. I load my 40s 1.19-1.20. As I shoot the top cartridge is pushed toward the front of the mag (down range). I assume this is from friction between the cartridges in the mag and the slide. When the top cartridge is pushed forward the mag will not drop free. Please help.

Safety should always be #1 there are written rules now, went with the internation 3 gun rules. there is a good group of people showing up now with larger shooting area out to 250 yards. You should come back and give it another

try and if you see something that you think could be safer they will listen. the town below rock hill has a 3 gun on 4th sat uspsa 3 gun rules carolina shooters i think
