Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. Yes, the Trigger bar from the G17 Gen4 will work just fine in the Gen3 and vice-versa, The only change was the dimple, which strengthens it. The change was made about 6 months ago, prior to the release of the Gen4. Here is a pic of the older G17 Gen3 trigger bar and the newer Gen4 G17.

Stick with STOCK, and save your money for useful things, like ammo.

I think there new slogan is "Glock 20+ years of development... still the same stuff" Why does it have to look different? But it is... http://glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1174232
  4. I ordered my Gen4 G17 Saturday from Ed's Public Safety in Georgia, and Got it Tuesday. Armorers and GSSF members still pay $398.20 for them... I am taking it out Saturday to the range against my G17 RTF2. http://www.glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1171041 I hope you give us a detailed report comparing the two guns. Hows this.... 16 more pics I took here..... http://glocktalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1174232
  5. As one other pointed out, use a ransom rest or sandbag, it will tell you 100% if something is wrong with immediate feedback.
  6. Just buy a "-" connector and your good to go, no other parts need to be changed unless you want to change them. No need for aftermarket parts.
  7. I just keep some extra springs, pins, and catches. And usually an extra trigger bar.

Yes, same price. Although I have some dealers around here trying to get $649... hahahahaha Join GSSF.com and get one for $398.20. Glock Armorers get 2 at these prices per year.

You can't interchange these anymore, the frame it cut differently due to the new Recoil spring, the trigger bar is different too.. On a side note, the RTF2's are changing their serrations to the normal straight style. The 37's are coming out shortly and the 19/23/38 Gen4's will be introduced around summer of this year. And, I haven't heard plans to Gen4 the Sub's, which obviously there is no reason for interchangeable backstraps for subs.
