But I wouldn't take it duck hunting, because IT'S THE WRONG TOOL FOR THE JOB.

On a trip from Houston to Dallas I stopped at Able in Huntsville, TX and they had one on display I got to fondle.
It was very impressive. Extremely well made and the fit & finish was noticeable. I don't see the value but it was not a Taurus for sure.
If you can afford it, I think you'd like it. I shoot a Krieghoff and a Kolar for clays and most people would think both are way over priced and that you can get a gun that is just as good for half the price or less. That is true, but a Beretta, even a DT11, will never be Krieghoff.
Krieghoff? Those guys are weenies
(here's mine)

Think of a turbo Porsche as a Manurhin or Korth. Is it nicer than a Camaro? Probably, is it a Formula 1 race car?
Probably not.
Like I said, they're nice guns, so is a North American Arms SAA, they're just the wrong tool for the job.

Plus, have you met revo shooters? They're the cheapest bastards on the face of the earth

I’d love to see these companies market to competition shooters.
Sponsored shooters, vendor demos etc.
Nah, my buddy is an 89 year old retired doctor. In fact he was John Wayne's doctor (ask your grandma who he was).
Those guns are what we call in Texas as, BBQ guns, like the Texas Rangers carry.
You break them out at a BBQ, and show your friends.

Thanks all for the input!
I have an appreciation for quality German made products and don't mind paying the price in most cases but I need to see something at least a little more to make it work the extra. The YouTube reviews I see really build them up but to get this kind of feedback for what I'm intending to do with it is a big help.
They're great guns for shooting single action, shooting double action slowly, or showing your friends at a BBQ.
ICORE and WRC, not so much.

My buddy has both a Korth that Willy built (what ever that means) and a Manurhin.
I've shot both, meh. No big deal. They're really well made, and the fit and finish is outstanding, but they're the wrong tool if the job is either ICORE or WRC.

Yesterday's USPSA match at Route 66 Shooting Range in San Berdo. 77 pistol boys, and 1 revo geezer.
I didn't come in last place, and my best stage was the USPSA classifier.
I even got a couple of Charlies on the swinger.

Those are X ring at 50 yard bullets. Enjoy.
The bullets might be X-ring at 50 yards, but the shooter isn't

Zero web site shows .357 130g FMJ in stock at $132/k.
Thanks. I used to buy zero bullets years ago but they got too expensive. Now they don't seem too bad.
I ordered these.

I feel the need, the need for speed.

I noticed that after I fire my 8 rounds, instead of moving then reload on the move, I hit the cylinder release, smack the elector rod, then start moving.
I need to fire my rounds, then run, then reload.
I'm working on it.

And no Shimdt's standards.

Where is "The Wall"?
Route 66 is about an hour from my house. If they had a 10 foot wall to climb, I would have turned around and went home.
Jojo runs a great match. Seven stages, 40 bucks, and we're done by noon.
I hadn't seen JoJo in a few years. Somewhere along the line he went from a 25 year old kid, to a 45 year old man.

A reload after every port? Add 15 seconds to my time.

A swinger, and his name was Mike...
...and Mike
-
A standing reload?
F!#& me, one one thousand, two one thousand, three one thousand...

Not really a revo friendly stage. Strong hand only, why? Why not?

Second stage, still going slow
