could you sit at my house all day everyday till they show up ? sig stuff is pretty dumb, no idea why companies do this.. They make up all kinds of BS excuses,,, but its like gun control makes it a PIA for all but the criminals,,, I mean a shipper will leave it with a crack head on the corner.. Not like they ever check ID. or even require the signature to be legible...
Never had issue with PV , Targetsports or Midway

I'm sorry your life is so much more difficult than mine. That must be very painful for you.

yeh was looking at them,,, but they do the signature required thing,,, so nope for me,, do they do some kinda guaranteed arrival time and day notification ?

Jeeze, Joe. You want me to load them and pull the trigger for you too?

Order them, sign for them, pew pew pew.

I have not used them in revolvers however I have had some FTF s in a SW m&p 2.0. they work fine in my PCCs. Available locally at $73 a brick. Federal is available at $85 (8.50 each) however I can only buy 2 packs at a time , Runnings policy

Federal Small Pistol Primers are available from Miwall in California for $70 a thousand.

I have been loading Unique since I started loading handgun ammunition.

Tonight I loaded ten rounds with 3.9 grains of  Sport Pistol and 125 grain S&S casting bullets.

Looking to make around 130 power factor.

I will shoot them over the chronograph after church tomorrow.

Looking for a load with less smoke.

Let us know how it goes.

Two months gone by now and my local Sportsman still had that 8#er sitting on the shelf looking sooo lonely so I gave it a new home.

Yeah, I bought an 8 pounder at Sportsman's Warehouse last week in Phoenix.

It's great stuff. I can get about 18,666 rounds out of it. I'm set for a while.

Alliant clay dot is the same as clays.  I started using it about the time the Australian plant ceased production.

    That's my understanding. I can't find either :)

There's a place in Phoenix that had Sport Pistol powder on sale a few months ago. I bought some and liked it. When a saw an eight pounder in Sportsmans Warehouse, I bought that too.

It loads and functions the same as Clays. I now have 11 pounds.

    I think it's about 25,000 rounds worth. I'm 65, I'm done buying powder :)

Brad, My loads are similar to yours except I increased it to 2.9 grains, from 2.8, to give me a little more cushion at matches with a standard chronograph. I do have 147 grain Blue Bullets (0.358”) coming to experiment with to see if there is any advantage to the lighter weight (also want to try Alaskan454’s TiteGroup load with that bullet along with Sport Pistol).

Here's my load for Blue Bullets 147. Slightly, and I mean slightly more "snap", I think :)

  8. I had been shooting my 627, but recently switched to my five inch 929. I had been using Clays powder, but it's been unavailable for a few years now.

I lucked into Sport Pistol powder, and it's virtually the same. I'm using 2.7gr of Sport Pistol behind a 160gr Blue Bullet.

It meters well, burns clean, and is mild shooting. Anybody else use it?

I shoot the 686+ Performance Center 5” that utilizes moon clips and for the past 10 years I have utilized a 125Gr. Plated bullet from Extreme (link below). Good news is they are on sale right now (10% off) with free shipping.

    $0.08 a bullet is a great price

I've been loading Berry's plated 124 Gr. round nose 9mm bullets for a while now and still ,have 2K in reserve. My shooting buddy loads Blue Bullets 124 gr. 9mm round nose and swears by them. My question is, with the same powder charge will the blue Bullets round clock slower or faster than the Berry's plated bullets?

"Faster" than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive...

Actually if they're the same shape, they'll be pretty close, but the blue will be slightly faster.

Load a few of each and chrono them.

    Ok Follow up  Question #1

    My Powder is VV N320.

    And have Berrys 147gr RN

    and

    Black Bullets 147gr RN

This is the VV website and no info on BBI or Berrys RN or Lead Cast Bullets, same in the Hornady Handbook Of Cartridge Reloading I have. So stumped now Berrys shows accurate or Hodgdon powder links. But I have neither. Only N320 and Titegroup but have read over a couple times here and elsewhere don't use titegroup something with heat or pressure and especially not with Black Bullets. So that's my conundrum now. And don't want to waste the 4000 bullets I have. Well I cant figure out how to post the picture but it's a screenshot from my phone.

Find any load data for N320 for 147 grain bullets, start there. It didn't have to be the exact bullet, just the same weight.

Just start at the minimum load, and work up from there.

    You'll be fine.

Buy what you can, when you can. Lots of people were keeping only a years supply or so and over the last couple years were hurting and hunting primers. I keep 25k plus on hand and still buy replacement when available.

I'm 65, I just rejoined my shooting range until 2032 (making me 74, I think). I rolled the dice :)

I hope I have enough powder and primers to last that long (and that I'm still alive).
