Ok so after we got this discussion going I was starting to figure on a 3 month wait... until the phone rings today and it is my FFL calling to say that my 27 aeries today. Which would put it at 2 1/2 weeks. Finally something going my way for once!

Who has the best prices on the Hornady and Sierra's?

I have been preparing to start reloading for .223. I have been trying to do some research on buying bullets. Trying to find the best compromise of quality and cost effectiveness. So far I have looked into MG and Widener's. Any other good options out there. Also supporting someone who supports us is important. Edit that these would be 55gr used for 3 gun and training.

Brownells has 13 pages of them. Any specific preferences?

I need to get a good roll pin punch set for working on my AR. I have been just buying a cheap set from harbor freight to use, but they are pretty cheapo and will snap like tooth picks. What is a good set to get? I want something high quality that will last.

I had called them a few months back about them, and was told that they were taking pre orders for them. Sounded like several month wait at that time.

Why just those three?

The one thing that I can tell you, is that no matter what way you go with it, someone is not going to be happy with the outcome. There are pro's and con's to every proposal that has come up in this thread. Get all the facts, figure out the pro's and con's and the who is gonna be pissed and not pissed, and make a decision. "If you build it, they will come!"

I think it is a good idea to do it that way. As far as the shooting both events goes, I am all for it as long as there aren't people that are not getting shoot either. These highly publicized matches like the IM are the ones that the average joe like me, who may only get to go to one big match like that a year, dream about. If it becomes a warm up for the pro shooters before they shoot their "desired" class, then I think it is getting away from where you want it to go.

-80 would be bad. The first time I shot a texas star I was a little intimidated by it. Nothing to worry about, start at the top and blast away!!!

Although I didn't use mine other than to try it on a couple of times it is definitely of the quality that shines through out of the box where you know its a holster that will give outstanding use to its owner. As an aside I had tried a Galco, Desantis, Apache, and Gould & Goodrich before I bought the Alessi. The Alessi is better than the others, unfortunately my need for ankle carry is just nonexistent. So it comes with the boot strap too? Also right or left hand?

Looking for info on which ankle holster to get for a G27. Any coppers or carry guru's out there with some first hand knowledge. It would be for duty use. Thanks

What is out there that is comparible to the Z6i?

That was one of the concepts that I was contemplating with using something to put the muzzle in rather than having the atv clamp on the bottom. I was thinking about using PVC or something like that.
