  1. I have a stock G21 that I am shooting and I am having a hard time finding Federal Large Pistol Primers. Since I can't seem to find any in stock I am looking for what next works best. I have used Winchester but usually get 2 or 3 per 100 that are light strikes. Any suggestions? thanks,
  2. Perfect. That is what I had thought but wasn't sure about. Thanks for the info. On the min. trigger I thought I just saw on Vanek's website that his 1.5 lbs trigger wasn't legal in production anymore? thanks, since I have having a hard time with the rules I know location is important for magazine pouches but is there any specifics on type. Can I use my limited mags just behind the hip though?
  3. I find this very interesting the idea of shooting 45 acp in production. I had thought of the idea but never pursued it. A couple production questions (new to production): The rules say the min. trigger pull is 5 lbs, so I take it my custom-glock trigger of 3.5 lbs is not permitted. The other one is no max. capacity. So in 45 acp does that mean I can run all 13 rounds in high cap mag, if so doesn't that put you at a disadvantage to the 9mm guys? thanks.
  4. do you shoot this standing or sitting?
  5. The jam happened in a match so my assigment might be a little off but this is what happened. I shot to slide lock, inserted the new mag and in the course of doing so the slide came 3/4 of the way forward. It was really hard to lock back so that I could drop the magazine. My assessement at the time was on insert the top round popped up and part way into the barrel. Maybe this was just a case of overseating. Thanks for all the comments.
  6. I have a Les Baer pistol that I am using for L-10. I have been using Wilson 10 round magazines and they have been working well. Recently I noticed though that from a slide lock reload (I know that is bad) that the magazines will cause a jam. I am thinking that part of the problem is the lips are getting weak. What I was wondering is do the Cobra mags work any better? thanks
  7. I was wondering who has the biggest mouthed magwell for a 1911 single stack. I was looking at a limited gun this weekend and man are those magwells huge.
  8. I am looking at getting a JP Glock Mag Well for a G21 and using standard 10 round magazines (it is my L10 gun). I was wondering what your opinion of the JP Glock Mag Well was and does anyone have a picture of it? Also if a person uses THE magwell will it work with regular base pads? thanks, Justin
  9. I have a G21 that I am planning on shooting L-10 with. The problem is the magazines don't like to take the 10th round. I have tried loading 10 rounds and leaving the magazines loaded for a month and still no luck. Any suggestions short of buying some hi-caps and only loading 10 rounds (seems like a waste of money). thanks.
  10. Thanks for the info. I wanted to make sure nothing was wrong and if I just reloaded the brass it would be good to go. It was from factory loads so they may have been a little hotter, I haven't had a chance to see what the chrono at. thanks, Justin
  11. The mouth of the brass on one side is flat. It looks kind of like if you took a penny and cut on side off. thanks.
  12. I have a new G22 and using new Winchester 180gr bullets when the brass ejects it is flat on one side of the brass. Some are more than others. Why is this and is there anything that can be done. thanks.
  13. Thanks for the info on these mag pouches. I have a wilderness 1.5'' belt however these pouches (say their 1.5'') but don't fit on there. Any suggestions or ideas on which belts work well? thanks,
  14. that is exactly what I was looking for, and awesome price. Now for a silly followup question, I shoot right hand with mag pouches on left so do I get the right or left handed ones?
  15. I am looking for some mag pouches for my G21 (shooting L-10). I was wondering what your recommendations were and where to order them from. Also, out of curiosity I was wondering what David Sevigny used. thanks, Justin
  16. This is very cool. I have been looking for something easy to build stages with and I think this is the ticket. Thanks for pointing it out.
