Asking this question more so out of curiousity, but could a person use a G19 frame and slide put a G17 or G34 barrel? I was thinking that the longer barrel gives you velocity but the smaller frame gives you less recoil. Just curious. thanks.

well, I got some locite and put it on. No more wiggle. Now I just need to shoot it and see if it stays.

By wiggle I mean I can take the front site and move it side to side.

I just got a set of Heine sights (standard front) for a G34. When I installed the front and tighten down the front screw, it still wiggles. Is all I need is Loctite or is something else going on?

Oh great, another range that attracts C's and D's from me That is good to know that Bend and Reno don't show much variation. I have shot there and been ok. When you shot there do you have any specific on what difference in velocity you saw?

I am located in Boise, ID (elevation about 2200 feet) and I am shooting Clays powder. I am trying to get a feel for what to expect out of my loads when I go up to Puyallup, WA in August for Area 1. Are my rounds going to slow up? If so what are others seeing? Just trying I make sure I don't show up and my loads are way slow or way hotter than anticipated. Thanks in advance.

I am just starting to run a G34 in production with a 147 gr RN Berry Bullets and have been doing some research on loads. A couple of the popular ones seem to be Clays @ 3.0 gr and Title group @ 3.3 gr. The question/concern I have is with OAL. The listed length for the loads is around 1.1 and that seems really short; almost like you are tamping the powder down with the bullet. Should this bother me? My history is with 45 acp loads and with the 45 is seems like you have a lot of empty case which doesn't appear try with the 9.

I run a CompTac (http://www.comp-tac.com/) for my G21 and like it. They are also really quick on turn time. I ordered mine Monday and had it before the weekend.

I was looking at KKM barrels and noticed I could put a 10mm in my G21 so I am wondering if the following logic is flawed: A G20 can have its barrel replaced with a 40S&W barrel. A G21 can have its barrel replaced with a 10 mm barrel therefore can a person replace a G21 barrel with a 40 s&w barrel? thanks in advance.

Pharoah, What did your production run end up being? I am still trying to get classified in production and shot it with HF of 5.33 so I am trying to get a feel for what that will be in production.

The other option is also the Springfield XD. Between the three (CZ, M&P, and XD) how would you rank them. I am thinking of thinks like also being able to by adjustable sights, holsters, mag pouches, .etc

I am trying to decide between the CZ Shadow (Angus-ized SP01) or the M&P for production. I am curious on which one can have a better trigger job done to it, followed by the usual things; better adjustable sights, reloads, softer shooting, .etc thanks in advance.

I thought I saw a posting somewhere that a someone was swapping out their barrel in a G20 and replacing it with a .40 S&W barrel. Does that mean the mags for G20 will feed the .40 S&W bullets? Just curious on the details. thanks

Sure you can. Just load to minor. But....why would you? Well.... If you could load 10 in a mag, it would give you a larger hole and might get you an extra "A" occassionaly The main reason I was asking is all I have right now is 45 guns and ammo. Don't get me wrong, I was looking excuse to buy another gun.

One other question, can you shoot minor with a 45?

In reassembling my Glock when I put the top pin through, the little single "spring" on the slide stop, does that go Under the pin or over the pin? Hope this makes sense.

thanks for the suggestion on high primers. I had a couple light strikes today and I noticed that the primers were slightly high. Thanks for all the help

I would run Federal's exclusively if I could find them any place. They are a hard item to come across any more.

For those of you shooting Winchesters, did you have to do anything to keep from getting light strikes ( spring changes, .etc)? I am running stock springs shooting about 170 pf. I wonder if it is time for a set of spring refresh.
