  1. Brewski, I have a new strain screw you can have. Dean
  2. BTW, how many rounds would I need? From what I've read, it seems a mere 200 (and 4 speedloaders) ought to get me by. That should get you through. Regards, Dean
  3. I see the same thing with not enough revolver shooters, I cancelled the U.S.Open ICORE Championship for October and it's not looking good for the NC State ICORE match, only have one app in and that's an S.O. other apps pending are also S.O.'s.
  4. Deleted, Will repost when I have everything in order.
  5. Melinda, Thanks for the kind words about the Ranch, I don't know about that JZSr school of shooting stuff , JZ should stand for "looks for stands" . Glad your having a good time, now we have to get you shooting Rimfire Steel the carry over to the other sports is great, hand eye coordination, transition speed and the price of ammo is good. Regards, Dean
  6. You may also want to take a look at Ruger Rimfire as a way to get the young ones into the shooting sports. Regrds, DB
  7. Thanks for shooting guys, it was fun. JZ your 66 is done, can you say smoooooooth. Regards, Dean
  8. This weeks match should be a good one, 60 new steel plates came in today (total of 96 now), I'm working on stands and should have half done by Saturday. DB
  9. I think the show you noted was talking about the scholastic Steel Challenge program, Ruger Rimfire is not the same program, both good for the shooting sports. Regards, DB
  10. NC is a big state, maybe a county/ city name and range name with no abbreviations or pronouns without a proper antecedent and some dates would be in order. Caswell County, 133 Barnwell Road, Prospect Hill. Range = Caswell Ranch LLC, 1st and 2nd Saturday of every month. Ruger Rimfire Series, Southeast Regional Championship, July 24th and 25th 2010.
  11. Hi All, If you are in NC come give it a try, I hold two Ruger Rimfire matches per month, fast and accurate is the key ( can be very fast ) and just plain fun. Home of the Ruger Rimfire Southeast Regional Championship Regards, DB www.caswellranch.embarqspace.com

    texas star

From the draw, 2 years ago at an IDPA side match they had a plate rack with wide spaces from plate to plate at 15/16 yds, I got the best time with (I think) 2.3 something from the holster. Now the Star was shot at 12yds though. DB
  18. Hi All, Time to start thinking about next years matches, NC State is just before the IRC so if you're on the east coast it would make a good practice match, received emails that a group from Australia will attend, apps are on the web site. www.caswellranch.embarqspace.com Regards, DB
