You will not need a sling for yer Shotgun. We will keep vehicle movement to a minimum on the range.

Most stages will require 3 weapons and at least 1 stage will have 4. I will post a round count at a later date.

We will attempt to have everyone on the road by 1700... + or - 30.

Let me put these Urban Legends to rest. I am also on the committee and I assure you that the NRA is not going to regulate, they are going to support. I for one was very skeptical but left the meeting very positive about the future of Multi-Gun sanctioned by the NRA. The match director will continue to be in charge and choose rules and regulations that will support their match. We will be under the "umbrella" of the NRA, a powerful entity if required to support the use of black guns, tactical weapons, high cap mags, and ammo.

I am having a Heavy Class, 7.62, for the LaRue Match.

Yes Jeff, it may extend past however, you can only load 9 total and you may have problems with moving the gun in tight places. Sound familiar? Dates are set, 28-29 March 2009. It is impossible to de-conflict all events and we will run with it.

Change 1 - 24 inch barrels on shotgun is approved. However, you may have some difficulty. I will highlight some of the things for the match... This will be a Tactical match, physically demanding, technical, and lots of blasting. DQ - will be case by case and the shooter may only zero stage. Scoring - minus 2 for a C and minus 4 for a D. Clays must Break - no BB hole. AR Mags - 45 round limit. Must have full bullet diameter to score.
