AA#7 is very similiar. It is cheap and dirty. 10.2gr w/125 = 169pf or 10.5 w/125 = 175 pf. Coco, I just don't understand how you can get 10.5 in a sC case! I use 10.2 VV N105 in a super case and it damn near fills the case up (to 1/8" from the top!) and the super has a larger case capaxity than SC! Are you a magician or something? Or is AA#7 just that much more dense than VV N105? You are right.AA#7 is more dense.It's still has room to fill

Either 9mm or .40 even .357 sig will hold up with no problem.The only problem that I had shooting open Glock was FTE.If you know how to tune and play with the extractor you should be fine.I've been shooting open G34 9 major (171pf)with no issue after I had the extractor tuned.I shoot Glock in practice and local match.for a big match I would go for 2011.38 super comp. I've found that switching back to 2011 .38 super after play with open Glock 9 major is more comfortable and easy to shoot. Just my 2c and good luck Y

Why would you get DQed in IPSC? I used to shoot several IPSC matchs out of the country back in 2000-2005 but I could not recall where(Australia or Greek).They considered unsafe shooting or unsafe handling.Have to get back to the IPSC rule book since I have not shot IPSC for a while.

USPSA is OK .But you might get DQ in IPSC.

I use 11# on my G34,35 production guns and 13#(-2 coils)on my G34 open gun.Work well.

Benny - My gun looks like somebody puked burnt oatmeal in it when I shoot AA#7 but I love the way it shoots. As flat as N105 with less straight back recoil. I use it in 38 Super and 9 major albiet in 9 major you got a case full of powder. 4# of N105 or 8# of AA#7 about the same price, and a lot easier to get. What is your 9mm major load with AA#7 and also OAL? Thanks

95 gr ? I dont think it's USPSA/IPSC legal.

Extractor and mag spring are two major parts that you want to looking at regarding open major Glock.You might want to re-considering your powder's choice for open major too. Good luck Yuth
