I use Solo 1000 with Bayou Bullets 200 gr. SWC, 3.5 grs. for a PF of 139. Nice and soft and very little smoke.

So you have been using the prototype? If so, any problems?

Sounds like you and your club "Think Out of the Box". Good for you!We have level 1 matches that have other outlaw divisions all the time. Bug gun, Snubby, Fun gun so what if PO is added as a "fun gun" division it changes nothing but adding something that may draw a few more shooters to the match. BIG F'n Deal!

I started Action Pistol in '08. Back then all the talk was for Solo 1000. Except for the three months I foolishly tried Open, I've never used nothing but Solo. I know that's what's in the powder canister.
As far as bullets, about three years ago, I tried MG 130 RN, they are the only 9mm bullet I use. I use Bayou Bullets 230 gr. for my G21 and G41, and Donnie's 200 gr. SWC for my G36 and G30S. FWIW, I only shoot Production and GSSF.
KISS is my motto.

Gen 3, Gen 4? Does it say Glock? I have both, they all go bang when I pull the trigger.

FWIW, I sight in at 20 yds. I use a buzzer and the holster I normally wear. I shoot two shots, holster, and repeat 10 times. I then check the target and move (if needed) my sights. I want my group to be just high center. I then do the same at 30 yds. (much bigger group size)I shot both open and limited. How should I sight it in if I don't have any type of clamp? Seems like off hand is not consistent enough.
I personally don't see how using a rest shows your true groups. I agree that a Ransom Rest shows the accuracy of your gun, and handload. But IMO, that's doesn't mean squat in a match.

I've put about 3,000 Bayou Bullets 200 gr, SWC through my G41. One pass through the barrel with a boresnake and Hoppes and it looks brand new. Oh yeah, 3.5 grs. of Solo 1000, PF of 140.

Not yet.The difference is in uspsa if you show up with a red dot we already have a home for you. in IDPA you dont get to play

The .380 has less case capacity than the .38 sp, so you need less powder.

Thanks for taking time to explain your reasons for voting no. It would be nice if the other BoD's did the same.
-
So we wait for IDPA.

Still $10.00 more than Dillon. Whoops, just saw it was threaded.

Recently I invested in a Zev G17 Open gun. I finally got the PF high enough to make the Comp work. The only problem was, in a match (250 + rds.) my arthritic hands and wrists, couldn't handle the Major recoil. I tried shooting Open in minor, but was handed my A$$ every time. So I sold it.
If the BoD did OK Production Optics, I'd jump on it immediately.

Sorry for the delay, just got back reloading today. The plastic nipple was buggered up.Check the plastic nipple on the end of the primer tube. If its buggered up it may not be holding/releasing the primers correctly.
Thanks guys!

I was really surprised, there was no mention of this in the current Front Sight.

This was discussed some Sunday at our monthly USPSA. What I heard was, they would put out a call for
"Firm volunteers"
to help build props. If enough people say they will help, then IMO we will have one in 2015. If not, then just come and enjoy our monthly match.
I figure the 'Powers to be', are on the way to Indiana. So a reply might come later today.

OK, I finally emptied the primer tube, so I have enough for Sunday's USPSA match. I'm going to give it a through cleaning, and I'll report back.
Thanks for the feedback guys.
Looking for match venues for winter shooting.
