The 41 is beautiful, accurate, and heavy. IMO, too heavy. 46 ounces will make transitions slow. A Ruger 22/45 weighs 23 ounces, a huge difference. You will handicap yourself.

Yes, so very hard to compare results.

Do you know for sure what powder Hornady used?

I just received my RPR in 6.5 CM, and installed a Timney in it. I ordered 1000 Starline brass for it, since I've had great results with Starline in my Savage 12 and Ruger SR-556. IMO, just as good as any brass, at a great price. I'll be loading a few next week, and after installing a Vortex Viper, heading out to Pima Pistol to break it in.

NRA course says 30' for steel.
'Our' rules say 21', that's what's important.

It sounds like a headspace problem.

Just wondering, what's the reason for the wax?

Whole different game.

Correct, the Ogive is what counts for repeatable, accurate loads.

Do you use COAL or Ogive, IMO the Ogive is the one that counts. I haven't loaded to a COAL in a while.

This is what I use.

How many times was this brass used? What is your PF?

I've shot thousands of http://www.bayoubullets.net in my G21 and G36, with absolutely no leading.

have the guns scheduled/insured under a Personal Articles Policy.. this way they will be covered even in "Mysterious Disappearance" situations. instead of just theft
also a bonus is they are cheap and NO Deductable.

Where in Arizona?
Saddlebrooke, a Plus 55 development, just No. of Tucson. It’s also less than 7 miles from Pima.

Will the people driving the truck have the keys for the car? Guess I'm presuming
the car goes on a truck??? If they don't have the keys to the car, I'd feel okay ...
It looks like we’ll be shipping this on a Transport carrier. Every company I talked to today, said the car has to be empty.

Hello people, we’re moving to AZ from KY in a couple of weeks. I have a few guns that have a total value of approximately $4,000. Most of these have high (to me) dollar scopes and other add ons. I plan to ship my wife’s car and I figured I’d put all my guns inside the car and then cover them up with other stuff. I know I’ll have to carry my wife’s jewelry, primers and powder in the car I’ll be driving there. What do I need to do to protect myself?

Back in ’93 it was almost impossible to find 9mm and .45. So I called Brian, and ordered my 550RL and got into reloading. At that time everyone was praising Solo 1000 for having less recoil and less smoke. It was also mentioned here the variation from lot to lot. So I called Powdervalley and ordered 4-8 jugs of Solo 1000 with the same lot number. I still have right at 16 lbs. I figure when I pass, my son-in-law will pick up the rest, and maybe a few firearms.
Gee thanks!
