  1. Do you reload? If not, a Glock 34 in Production would be the way to go. Factory ammo in 9mm is much cheaper than 40.
  2. Another aspect that would be interesting is a history of the equipment rules. A friend of mine recently picked up a comped single stack 38 super in a trade. Was there a division that would've been built for at some time in the past? It had iron sights, but looked like it was tapped for a scope mount at some point.
  3. I'm happy with the Comp-Tac pouches, but so far I've only used them in IDPA, where I only need two. I'm thinking about trying their 'beltfeed' for USPSA Production next season.
  4. Huge +1 for this. I just trained with Craig for the second time (third if you count a 2 hour black at a conference) a few weeks ago. It doesn't get any more realistic and honest to the problem than this.
  5. Also, the MKIII guns have factory ambi-safeties.
  6. It was a pleasure shooting with you. You can add to your pluses for the match staying positive and having fun even when things weren't going your way. Some shooters would have just shut down after a bad stage and been miserable. I mostly shot like garbage, but I had fun. Having good people to shoot with and the great crew to help run the match with made it a pleasure. And at least I beat Travis Yeknom.
  7. I've seen a bunch of posts here and other places from people who use WST in 9mm. Winchester/Hodgdon don't provide data for WST in 9mm. I've seen data scattered around in forum posts, but it's hard to know who to believe. I'm looking for loads for the following bullets: MGB 124gr JHP MGB 147gr CMJ Precision 124gr FP Precision 147gr FP Thanks.
  8. The reason for this is that in IDPA, you're only allowed to drop a mag on the ground if you're at slide lock. If there is still ammo in your gun, you have to retain the mag. The extra time to rack the slide is much less than the time to stow a mag.
