And as far as collecting the jugs ask your shooters for help. Its amazing how many jugs will show up when you put the word out:)

I used to set up shotgun side matches and sometimes would use milk jugs for the first target. They make a huge splash when hit solidly with a 12 gauge and are a lot of fun. We used steel poppers and/or clays in holders for subsequent targets.
The milk jug targets are time consuming and are a bit of a mess to clean up. But they are loads of fun in the summer time!

I am two matches into shooting a M&P Pro and the G34 is now my backup. I have a 13 lb spring on the stock guide rod in the 34, a Vanek trigger and grip tape. The Pro I have had a pretty good trigger out of the box and it is getting smoother the more I shoot it. The M&P just fits me, I love to tinker, but the Pro just works so at this point I'm running it box stock. Who would of thunk it!

I just wanted to gives kudos to our Sheriff Adam Christianson. He followed through on his campaign promise and has allowed good honest people in his county an avenue to carry concealed legally.
Adam you have my vote!

My bad on writing the sentence with a political comment, I meant it in jest and have edited it.
I don't think anyone is blaming S&W here or expecting anything free. I'm all for self-reliance and taking responsibility for ones actions and apply this to my life. One area I don't apply it to is Business and specifically Customer Service. In my experience is if you give a customer a discount on something they have broken they are very likely to respond with repeat business.
A phone call to S&W explaining what happened is what I suggest. I know if I was the S&W Customer Service rep I would do what I could to get a S&W product in that young mans hands ASAP.
Best regards,

"I didn't come to win, I came to play"
Sounds like advice that might be given in the mental conditioning forum here.
I totally agree, there is much to learn in this statement.
I enjoyed the final episode and also agree all of the last 5 guys were a refreshing change and all were guys you would want to share the range with. Dustin and Mike appeared to be enjoying it all.
Dustin really seemed to have a good positive mental attitude after several weeks of isolation living in a house with strangers. His faith carried him through.

Ignore the guys saying toss it
(Thought better of it. Thanks Strangedays)
If it was my product I would want to see it and evaluate what happened.
Do take a picture of it and hang it above your press though.
Its good to hear everyone involved is OK and I hope S&W rebuilds/replaces your M&P and charges a modest fee. (As would Dillon and most really good companies.)

Thanks for all the info and tips guys. I will get some things to support the M&P Pro. I do still have the G34 also for back up.

I watched most of last season. The opener I watched today in about 1/2 hour using fast forward a lot. I agree they should ditch the old Winny and tired looking Jeep. They would be better of in Diesel trucks with sleepers. Of course if they could track down a Unicat: http://www.unicat.net/en/index2-Galerie.html they would be living the life in zombie land

But there is no villian left on the show.................I kid, i kid
That big wheel looked like an awesome challenge. I can't imagine what it was like or how I would choose to approach it. Chris and Justin made it look easy though. Gary got a pass due to previous events and Dustin and Mike voted Alex into the elimination with Mike. Mike you looked like a GM running that elimination stage.
Good thing cause your Oh For did not look very GMish.

I just started to run a M&P Pro in the local matches. Last Sunday was the first time out with it and it worked well. I have been running a G34 and the M&P felt like the Glock except for me the M&P feels better in the hand and points better. Also an added benefit is I do not have to shift my grip to hit the mag release.
What parts should I keep on hand for maintenance or possible breakage?
Thanks,
Keith

Have you taken the slide assembly completely apart and detail cleaned it? I have had misfires on a very dirty Glock before. Since you have a 19 you might just swap the Striker over after a good cleaning and verify its the striker.
As always this is the internet and YMMV:)

A little old lady was walking down the street dragging two largeplastic garbage bags behind her.
One of the bags was ripped and every once in a while a $20 fell out onto the sidewalk
Noticing this, a policeman stopped her, and said, " Ma’ am, there are $20 bills falling out of that bag."
"Oh really? Darn it!" said the little old lady. "I'd better go back and see if I can find them.
Thanks for telling me officer."
Well, now, not so fast," said the cop.. Where did you get all that money? You didn't steal it, did you?"
"Oh, no, no", said the old lady. "You see, my back yard is rightnext to the Golf course.
A lot of Golfers come and pee through a knot hole in the fence, right into my flower garden.
It used to really tick me off. Kills the flowers, you know. Then I thought,'why not make the best of it?
So, now, I stand behind the fence by the knot hole, real quiet, with my hedge clippers.
Every time some guy sticks his thing through my fence, I surprise him, grab hold of it and say, 'O.K., buddy! Give me $20, or off it comes.'
" Well, that seems only fair," said the cop, laughing. "OK. Good luck! Oh, by the way, what's in the other bag?"
" Well, you know", said the little old lady, "not every body pays."

I am planning to order some Montana Gold 124 grain 9mm bullets. Do any of you BE forum members use the FMJ or CMJ bullets? If so whats the difference and which do you prefer and why?
Thanks in advance,

Just saw your post. Here are two clubs local to your area:
USPSA - http://home.comcast.net/~dmuirhead99/site/
IDPA - http://www.safetyfirstshooting.org/
PM me if you are going to either shoot and I will show you around.

How about a hammer double?

You have to jerk the trigger on every shot at about the 5.18 point. Your thoughts?

I figure the rocks were all the producers could afford after they blew the ammo budget with Gatling guns and Hotchkiss cannon in the last two episodes
Maybe they will be back to live ammo next week

CZ SP01 for Production
in CZ
Posted
I'm in California and I want to get a CZ for Production. A Shadow is not on the roster. CZ Custom suggested I get a stock SP01 and send it to them for mods. My question is what mods are needed to make it the best I can and which ones are not needed in YOUR EXPERIENCE?
I have been using Polymer pistols and i want to try out a heavier platform..
Thanks in advance,
Keith
