  1. Looks like a fun stage. Could you move the two walls with the gap down range 2 or 3 feet and maybe close the gap a little more? That would solve the back up issue. Maybe a couple no shoots to create movement.
  2. Thanks for the good information. I plan on using this load for ICORE, steel challenge and uspsa production, in my 627 limited gun. I will start low and chrono up. Rick
  3. Any suggestions on a load for a 38 special around a 120 to 125 power factor? I will be using a 158 Berrys round nose and regular Clays powder. Thanks
  4. I have been using 3.3 grains of clays in my 38 special . I am using a 147 grain TC moly coated bullet. It is a very nice load.
  5. Doug, I was thinking of using clays with a 147 moly coated bullet in a 38 special. Do you see any problems? What are the signs of high pressure?
  6. Thanks guys for your help. I took your advise and everything went smooth.
  7. I have a 627 with an 8 inch barrel. I would like to put the stock 5 inch barrel back on the gun. I have the tool to hold the frame but I am not sure what to do from there. Any tips or suggestions sent my way would be appreciated. Thanks in advance! Rick B
  8. John Bond, Bud's brother would like to thank everybody for their kind words, thoughts, and prayers. A lot of Bud's friends turned out for the memorial service and it meant alot to his family knowing Bud was so loved. Rick Bowen
  9. Bud is the one that got me started in shooting. He and I practiced together and put together many matches. When I was going through cancer treatments he was there for me every step of the way. I have never met anyone with more friends than Bud. I am proud to have had Bud as one of my best friends. Everyone at Weld County and the Rocky Mounatin region will miss him. I know I sure do.
