I've used scotch brite pad wrapped around a dowel that is thick enough to enter the tube snuggly. This method has worked good for me in the past... law dawg

Best i've done with an open blaster is 3.66. A class. The best I've ever seen anyone shoot the Texas Star was Don Bednorz at area four around two years ago...It had to have been in the mid to low two's...Open blaster. law dawg

Hello Bob, I'm seriously considering ordering one of your Pro Sc limited guns. My question is will you be able to install a different hammer and trigger for me. Right now, i'm used to the Koenig hammer and a straight infinity trigger. Thanks, law dawg

Shot this one last month and I was amazed at how well I did on it. Dont remember my points, but I ran it in a little over 10 sec. Came in at almost 92% nationally. My first M class score!!!! LD

I got a room at the Super 8 on exit 22 which is really close to the match hotel. My traveling buddy will not be going with me due to some personal reasons, so I have a room with 2 beds all to myself and no one to split the cost with. If anyone is interested let me know. LD

I just got my new JP aluminum gas block system. My AR has a Miculek muzzle break welded on it. Is it possible to get the gas block system installed even if the rifle has a welded muzzle break. I've been told that it can still be installed as long as an experienced gunsmith does the job. Or can the gas block be installed through the rear portion of the barrel? Can someone please shed some light?Thanks, LD

Schwan, All I can say is DON'T DO IT!!!!! read the forum that reads: problems with rem 1100 CM "bolt wont lock back". All the info you need is there.

Just ordered the Simmons 1.5x5x20mm pro diamond. Benny highly recommended it and i saw him shoot with it at our last three gun match and he rocked with it. He nailed the close up stuff and 180 yd shots were no problem either. I'll let you guys know how I do with it at our next match. LD

Well, I'm back and I have bad news. I tried several things that were recommended and they didnt work. I cleaned the shotgun thinking that this might fix the prob, but it didnt work. After that, I opened up the gas ports a tiny bit and still no luck. I thought I'd try these things before taking off the easy loader completely, but now it looks like that thing is coming off. Nothing but problems after the EL was installed. I will be taking a trip to Corpus Christi Tx. real soon to have Benny take care of the problem for me. Thanks, LD

Which EOTech model is best for 3-gun? I would like to add one to my collection, but I dont know what model is most commonly used for this type of sport. Thanks in advance, LD

Mike and Bigdawg. I had the pleasure of shooting with Benny this Sunday at our first annual 3 gun match, and Benny Suggested the same thing you guys did. Now, I strongly beleive that the problem is the easy loader. I will take it off and replace it with the original one. Thanks for your help on this matter. You all were a big help. LD

The gun is brand new , so i know that it's not dirty. When i first got the easy loader installed on it, i shot about 4 rounds through it one at a time just to make sure that the bolt would lock back after every shot was fired and it did. When i fired 5 rounds rapidly, I noticed that the bolt wouldnt lock back. Now, it does it continuously. TonyH. I agree with you, but my buddy swears that the easy loader is a real hot item that everyone that shoots serious 3 gun should have. I'm not so sure about that. Thanks, LD

I just got a new rem 1100 competition master and a friend of mine installed an easy loader on it. At the begginning, I shot several rounds with it and the bolt would lock back after the last shot was fired. Yesterday, I did some rapid fire shots with it and I noticed that the bolt wont lock back after the last shot. Has anyone had this prob and if so, how did you fix it? Thanks, LD
