  1. Barrel life isn't something you need to worrk about until you're way way past 20K
  2. I wouldn't think that if the white powder is on the lead bullet that there would be a problem. For safety's sake, you might just want to dispose of them. I'd use an impact puller to take them apart.
  3. I sold one of my 550's to upgrate to a 650. Have a few "learning" problems. Hope they go away as I get more familiar with the 650. The 550's work great
  4. Gotta watch range pick up of Win 45 brass. That NT stuff can make my Dillon croak
  5. I have been having good luck with Winchester primers, no misfires. I have always used CCI in past without ignition issues so was leery of switching to Winchester. With shortages nowdays sometimes you have to shoot what you can find
  6. As long as you are having fun, it doesn't matter what you are shooting or where you finish
  7. You shouldn't be out too much. There seems to be an active market for Ernie Hill gear. List it and get what you need for your pistol.
  8. I agree on the small parts. I don't think it's needed. Leave them as they are.
  9. I have done a few with a file and if you take your time it's not a problem. Check fit frequently and you'll get it right.
  10. I'm going to have to try these. I'm tired of the hot days when my muffs get soaked.
  11. I have been keeping my Commanders with Woolf springs in factory weights. Seems to be working. On my non carry gun, I use a recoil buffer to help with pounding
  12. Starting to shoot with what you already have is a good way to see if you like the sport. You can always add equipment later on. Start shooting and enjoy
