I'll be interested to shoot an mpx as it is just about the only locked breech 9mm pcc that I know of. Thinking that should make the recoil impulse much nicer than my old colt 9mm upper.

They make good powder. If they'd import sp2 they'd sell tons and tons to the open shooters of the world. When I could still get it before (they stopped importing it) it was all I used in my 9mm open gun.

Aftec propperly prepped and installed combined with one of brazos' tuned ejectors (or an ejector that you have tuned yourself according to the article that bob published in front sight, you can find it on his webpage). For full happiness don't feed it random range brass. If you a look at a handfull of range pickup with a united nations worth of headstamps and measure the rims and extractor groves you'll see one of the reasons (in my opinion) people have issues with 9mm major. I like Federal/speer/winchester myself. Some people seem to get away with mix and match brass but looking at the differences in the way different cases ejected in my guns when i started with 9mm major ( 7 or 8 years ago) has convinced me to stick with major domestic makers for my brass.

Irons or dot or don't matter? As a mid A pistol shooter, every time I have tried pistol verses carbine/PCC with open targets inside 15 yards, pistol is faster. Lots of hard cover, no shoots, distance, the carbine/PCC walks by the pistol easily, at least in my hands.
In my case the carbine had an eotech or a good 1-4 with a daylight visible dot set on 1x. That's why I figure it is a good comparison with my open pistol. The stages in question had a fair amount of hard cover and no shoots.

For several years in the uspsa pistol match I ran we would run a rifle side match after the pistol match. We would usually reshoot one of longer pistol field courses with our ARs (not PCCs but a fair comparison) my time with an open pistol shooting major was usually faster than my time with my carbine. The points were normally better with the pistol. Now I am a low/middle of the pack M in open. I am a decent but by no means the fsstest rifle shooter. So maybe someone really quick with a rifle would be the opposite but if they put the time in shooting an open pistol... maybe not.
Now in this case none of the shots were farther than 20 yards so that probably influences this some.

That was great..Merry Christmas indeed.

I have tried several different mrds (any that would fit my core that someone would loan me). The deltapoint was hands down my preference.

so... I believe I have seen at least one light with the light guts removed and filled with lead used. I think the ruling was something along the lines of lights aren't allowed but if you remove the ability for it to act as a light it can be a frame weight.

Or it could have been Candice Juliano A86759 whom it seems joined uspsa not that long ago and is now a GM

CZ 75b, because a division only for plastic guns is stupid.
ETA: Yes, it makes the weight requirement.
Wait? Doesn't the 75b making weight prove it's not a division just for plastic guns? :-)

Thx just voted..

On an open gun no weight limit I am aware of...

Not as pissed as I bet he is when you pull the trigger :-)

A good man, a great shooter, and a great gunsmith he will be sorely missed in this world.

Why would that be trolling, if it makes weight (and I think some one has one alread that does with a dot, zhunter maybe?) Looks like a heck of a choice.
Well, if Ben wanted to troll everyone he could show up with this:Understand. Though if Ben is going to stick around and shoot he can't use the unicorn. I believe it is heavier than 35oz.

First to happen at match was a factory para extractor lost tension. Over the years... Couple of the little collars on the aftec that hold the springs. Couple of cracked firing pin stops. 1 factory ambi safety (strong side broke off just beyond where the pin joins to the plate). Countless fiber optic rods (far fewer after I started doing a better job of installing them). Scope mount hole on a backup caspian open gun won't hold a screw anymore (gun has a thin dust cover just not much meat to tap... I need to get it welded up one of these days.) Bent a firing pin (round without a primer got through unnoticed in some practice ammo pin (extended) got stuck in the flash hole of the case (best I can tell) when I cleared the malfunction it bent the firing pin which was left sticking out of the breech face. Cracked 2 slides 1 on the right side through the ejection port, the other on left side at the square corner at the top of the ejection port and the breech face (both were on high rount count open guns so that almost shouldn't count, more like a wear item). Couple of tungsten guide rods (one which launched itself down range during a classifier and actually didn't even stop the gun. I am sure there is more, I just can't remember.
I don't count aftec springs, recoil springs, or mag springs as generally those are wear items that don't normally break rather just wear out and stop working.

Rite pull grip adapter...moves the whole pistol grip back.

I think most of them (the serious ones) use lathe turned solids of a bore rider design

I use an m die specifically to avoid that issue (and to avoid having to chamfer.) I have the m die adjusted to just barely open the case miuth. I do have a dillon crimp die in the tool head and I have it adjusted to just remove the bell the m die imparts. That has worked well for me.

I enjoyed it as well... it was a nice mix of the new direction they have been taking the movies in (which in my opinion are a little closer to the books) and some fun nods to the good stuff from the traditional bond movies.

I have handled revolvers that were tuned up by Neil they were pretty nice. If he were local to me he'd be doing any gunsmithing I needed done.

Nice can I hate shooting guns that short without one.
At least it wasn't a FTE
