  1. OK guys, any ideas about what you see on picture. Is is bullet or...?
  2. I do not think so because trigger is STI original and I see a 1~2 mm space between trigger bow and disconnector...
  3. It happens when I pull the trigger. Also I tried to compare how it works with another same pistol and found what sometimes lower part of disconnector "dives" under sear and doesn't let sear to free the hammer when it in ready-for-strike position. Sorry if it's not very clear but I do not know how to explain it
  4. I think so because gun is almost new, only about 1k shots fired...
  5. OK guys, may be somebody could help me and explain where is the key of my problem. Sometimes, when I hold gun especially strong in my hands the pressing of trigger do not launch the hammer. And sometimes hammer without any clear reasons do not hit the firing pin but stops in few millimeters before firing pin stop plate (see attached pictures). Is it wrong work of disconnector?
  6. OK guys, but what's about SV +2 IPSC basepads. Are they also good as Dawson basepads are?
  7. Newest model comes from factory already without "wings"... I have two holsters in both styles and I like "wing" model more than the another one.
  8. Gotta love this site and it's members. Do you like the Ghost holster? I'm considering a change from my CR to stop the interference with my giant legs........ Use it in past three years without any problems. I think it's a best choice in this price category...
  9. OK, finally I received the Wolff 12# variable power recoil spring which I'll use in my Edge instead of heavy RM. I package I also foind the small spring marked as firing pin spring. Question #1: Do I really need to change the firing pin spring if factory one works fine? Question #2: How to determinate where is the front (barrel end part) part of recil spring, because as I know where is a difference in such kind of springs. Thanks in advance

    new limited

Josh, i had absolutely the same problem with my Edge (10 lbs recoil spring, shock buff and stainless recoil rod). Everything was solved just by changing mentioned spring to 14 lbs and removing of shock buff...
  11. From the pics it doesn't appear that his stock STI safety is broken. It seems all stock STI safeties break sooner or later unfortuantely. From the sounds of it, he wanted the larger Ed Brown...much nicer than stock and won't break. I just put similar SVI safeties on my Edge and they are much more comfortable. Correct, factory parts are in good conditions, I just want to put EB to my second pistol. On first one I have Swenson ambi safety installed. Unfortunately in my city (I live in Lithuania) there is only one good gunsmith and he is permanently busy So, seems, EB will go to box with spare parts...
  12. It appears he purchased a non-ambi EB and is trying to fit it to the gun AND to the original right side STI safety. Wait, wait, do you mean EB should work "alone" without the safety or right side ?
  13. Thanks alot, good link. But I still do not understand clearly if I should have to cut and file the axe of EB safety to make it match with original safety from right side of gun?
  14. Finally I got a new thumb safety (bigger and more wide than factory one) made by Ed Brown. But oops, I see it really different than the STI factory safety Differents are marked in red rectangulars. Any suggestion what I have to do to fit it properly? Thanks in advance for any ideas...
  15. Did you try this shop: http://www.eco-comex.se/gugaribas/english/products.htm ?
  16. I checked almost every message where TS is mentioned but unfortunately I still have no idea how to make it by myself So I appereciate a lot if somebody could provide me few pictures how to mount plates on arms...
  17. You're right, search rulezzzz Shame on me
  18. I'd like to ask people from this forum to share the pictures or drawings of Texas Star (especially I'm interesting in how to mount plates on it). Unfortunately it's not possible to buy here (in Lithuania) the factory made so seems we will get to produce it by ourselves Thanks in advance.
