Looks for Range (1/11)

  1. when looking down in case feeder the motor shaft turns cw but when ordering a motor which side of motor is considered the actual direction i believe the direction is considered from the shaft facing you so it would be a cw motor is this correct?
  2. also replacing screw without lock nut will just come loose
  3. best to grind head as far as u can without hitting bearing guide than use sharp chisel to remove rest of head use small punch to push shaft out opposite side than replace w grade 8 long bolt with nut on threads by head, screw into shaft and lock down with nut now u have easy access to service bearings when needed, forget trying to remove normally because it will just strip out
  4. i have same noise with 1050 super it sounds like the dies are binding on shell plate but they are not and the sound is only there when a case is in shell plate, took apart bearings and lubed and shimmed outside race w aluminum foil for snug fit but popping noise still there, RL 1050 does not do this though
  5. the screw is soo flippen tight that it is unremovable with its tini tiny 5/32 cap screw i ended up grinding the sob off, now i did not destroy anything including the threads on shaft, it not worth f'ing with just grind it use a wood chisel and remove what left and replace hopefully with bigger head allen size larger too
  6. im going to try and remove with impace screw gun and if it breaks il machine the shaft than drill and tap what should have been in in the first place, i love dillon but i am not impressed with what they did here especially using a ridiculous 5/32 allen screw head
