  1. Here it is before the drop at Shot...lol https://www.canikusa.com/tti-combat
  2. Looking for insight from users on if dryfire mags provide a somewhat accurate trigger feel with a Glock? Same trigger resistance and break? i wouldn't ask if they weren't $ 90+ each
  3. Apparently referred to as the "Combat Team"... Looks to be SFT length and the comp brings it out to what a SFX or Rival length would be.
  4. Agreed! our club has had more issues with atlas guns than anything else. It's ok, i just beat them with my g17 and g19. One rattle trap, two with major extractor issues and one that had a barrel link area shear off completely during a match (kkm). just cuz it's $4-6k, doesn't always mean it's the best.
  5. actually, cheely, PT and JEM manufacture, in the US, a very large majority of the 2011 frames now used by most everyone. No need for overseas frame manufacturing anymore, unless your trying to stay at a certain price point.
  6. Evolution Armory does dlc very well
  7. Confirmation by Tisas is it'll be released at Shot show this year. Sub 1000 msrp. Found sku's at some retailers (out of stock obviously) that are showing sub $800 street. Carbon steel frame and steel slide. No mim.
  8. Also seems that SDS is importing a double-stack 2011 (black w/o threaded barrel) model as well... Shops with it listed, out of stock obviously: https://www.google.com/search?q=tisas+12500002&oq=tisas&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUqBggAEEUYOzIGCAAQRRg7MgYIARBFGDsyGAgCEC4YQxiDARjHARixAxjRAxiABBiKBTISCAMQLhhDGK8BGMcBGIAEGIoFMgYIBBBFGDwyBggFEEUYQTIGCAYQRRg8MgYIBxBFGDzSAQgxNzk3ajBqN6gCALACAA&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8#ip=1
  9. Great article in the latest Combat Handguns issue on the double stack Tisas Night Stalker. Grip looks nice, 3.5 trigger break, no mim parts, solid lock up and 1" accuracy at 25yds. Under $1000.
  10. If he was shooting an MPA, thats promising for the brand. I know theyve had their share of issues with QA/QC, but seem to be a good deal for the $$$.
  11. I thought he won shooting an Eddie Garcia (EMG) gun?
  12. +1 for the Apex bobbed hammer kit (comp springs) and micheulak spring kit. Dropped my 627 DA pull from 11lbs to 5.5lbs. Added allchin rds mount and an sro. Awesome gun.
  13. George at MI Gunslingers (migunslingers.com) has started taking orders for MPA's as well as Vudoo single stacks and 2011's. His pricing is far cheaper than direct from either builder. Through George, small deposit up front ($300), then full payment when complete. George said Vudoo requires 50% up front though, MPA does not.
  14. You may want to reach out to Mark or Dave at Evolution Armory. They've done a number of DLC on a few guns of mine. They also have different PVD color options as well. If not able to do it, they'd be the ones Id reach out to to point me in the right direction. Secondly, Agency Arms has been doing that blue pvd to anything they can get their hands on as of late so it may be an option to reach out to them as well. https://www.evolutionarmory.com/ www.agencyarms.com
  15. First ever competition gun was a Dawson precision Edge (9mm). Then I proceeded to send it out to robar for electroless nickel. Thus the problems began . Learned my lesson
  16. I remember the days when I got my first titan for $3400 and my titan se for 3700...those were the days. For some reason I shoot my canik rival, walther pdp and glocks faster, better and more accurate than the 2011s. New to the forum btw...hope to learn a ton here!!
  17. Ive been a member on a few "1911" forums for a while now and I find it funny when people just hop onto the latest $5k + gun, defend it to the death as far as how awesome and amazing it looks, fight anyone with varying opinions....only to sell it a few weeks / months later, and ask for close to full/new pricing...lol
