coframer
If I install a Vanek Trigger system, polish the trigger, or change out the connector in my G19 is it still legal for SSP? Why/why not?
Duane Thomas
You're allowed to do anything to the trigger system yourself, including polishing or replacement of internal parts, as long as safety is maintained, and no safety devices are removed or deactivated. As for the Vanek trigger kits, it depends on the division, and it depends on the particular trigger kit. In SSP you're not allowed to make any external changes to the gun, other than sights, grip tape, and replacing any factory supplied part with any other factory supplied part (e.g. Glock shorty slide release for Glock extended slide release or vice versa). Vanek makes two "Classic" trigger kits that make no external changes to the trigger itself, and are thus legal in SSP.

sifu128
I can tell you that Vanek does a great job!! I have one of his drop in triggers in my glock 19 and in my 34 and shoot in ssp. Very crisp, almost no slack and everything is in tact! +1 on Vanek
