Ohioguy
Any problems with 147 gr bullets out of a CZ 75B? I don't anticipate any but thought I would ask before I bought some. Any particular loads that you found favourable?
eerw
I have shot a bunch of the 147AE and the Win147 target and jhp ammo through my CZs. all shot very well. no issues at all with accuracy or reliability.
clown
i use montana gold 147's under tightgroup in my 75B. powder choice varies between shooters. should be some info under the reloading section on various recipes. i do shave the slidestops down in my cz's due to some jamming in my shadow last year. BMartens
I have loaded MG, Berry RN, Missouri LFP, and BBI FP with no problems except OAL. You have to run the FP bullets [MD-MO-BBI] at or under 1.150 OAL [sP-01 mags]. They look fine in the feed lips and clear the front of the magazine but, because of the radius they will tighten up after they start to double stack. Biggest problem is with the lead but all will hang and nose dive lower in the mag sooner or later if loaded to long. Accuracy with all of the 147's is excellent out of the SP-01 and also in my standard M&P. The M&P will take max OAL of 1.169 with no problems. TonyT
I have not seen any difference in either accuracy or reliabilty using 147 or 124 gr. FMJ's in my CZ-75. Initially I used Titegroup for my 147 gr. FMJ loads but switched to WSF which burns much cooler.
