Wakal
After fitting heaps of Clark/Para cut barrels, I'm now faced with something rather different than I'm used to...a Wilson/Nowlin cut...any advice? BrianH
Nowlin cutter from Brownells. Don't use a "long" endmill...if it grabs, it makes a mess. But the main thing is it is ground flat, whereas a standard endmill is ground with radial relief. You need the contact surface on the frame to be flat. Just go slow. Ross Carter
The biggest challenge is holding the frame. Put a little thought into a jig before you start cutting.
