CED M2

I just got a nice new CED M2 from Midway. The flip up screen is very loose and I was wondering if this was right or if I possibly got a bad unit?

Loose meaning it moves side to side when closed and open? If so I would contact seller to exchange. Mine has never had what you would call a strong hinge spring. But it stays put.

I just got one as well and the flip up screen does seem a bit loose but I think they're made that way. Mostly cheap plastic on the unit.

Ran some Airsoft thru it in the backyard and does work well. Try it at the range tomorrow.

Yes it's very loose on the open /close. I can raise the rear of the unit while it's open about an inch and it closes. Zero pressure on it.

I'll return it to Midway and see if the new one's the same.

Nope the new one will stay open. Everything seems good with it.
