Rufus The Bum
I was just reading an article about this gal Dru Sjodin who was kidnapped and I can think of is "Why the F$%@ did this ever happen"? This guy spent 23 years in prison for attempted kidnapping, apparently he got out last year from what I have read, now a girl comes up missing and HER blood is found in HIS car. What is it going to take to reform our criminal justice system? It's just one case after another about a criminal who gets out and kills again....... tightloop
Rufus There has never been one single case of recidivism after carrying out the death penalty... There are just some people who are a blight on society.
diehli
There has never been one single case of recidivism after carrying out the death penalty... Funny how that works, isn't it. But hey, "criminals are people, too!" (Cue violin music, pin bleeding heart to sleeve, etc.) In case I wasn't clear: AGREED! Anyone else wonder if the three strikes rule included the death penalty when you were "out" that it might actually help to dissuade criminals from committing crimes?
