I am currently loading 170 grain precision black bullets with 4.8 grains with a oal of 1.190 and i'm getting a 170 power factor out of my 5" sti. My 9mm load for 115 gr berrys is 4.8 gr with a oal of 1.150 i'm getting 135 pf out of a 5" xd and I also load 147 gr precision black bullets with 3.2 gr with a oal of 1.100 with a 135 pf Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
BigBore56 Posted February 21, 2010 Share Posted February 21, 2010 Alliant built Power Pistol just for the 9mm and .40 S&W. At $52.50 for a 4# jug (Powder Valley), it's a bargain. Lots of load data on the web also. I shoot it with MG 124's in my STI Trojan 9 and 180 XTP's in my 40's. A little on the LOUD side, but thats why I wear good ear protection.
