I wonder if the glow chemicals would stand up to the heat.

I don't know about current UV and/or Phosphorescent inks, but there are a number of minerals that do one or both. Most of them were molten at some point, so technically it's possible.

Come to think of it, glow-in-the-dark plastic things were likely squirted into a mold whilst hot and goopy, and white-bleached fabrics flouresce nicely even after a trip through the dryer.
