Aircooled6racer
Hello: I will start with some of the info given(actually a little less) and go from there. The VV3N37 will be my match powder and Silhouette will be my practice powder. I have alot to learn about shooting the open pistol in regards to powder, bullets and what the dot does. I also think it will help with my open sight shooting as well. I love watching the dot to see what it does Thanks, Eric Edited November 12, 2009 by Aircooled6racer
Aircooled6racer
Hello: Looks like I am going to go with the 121gr Montana Golds. I have to play with the load a little since I have loads from 168-175PF and have to decide which is better for me. I really appreciate all the great advice and helpful info Thanks, Eric
Aircooled6racer
Hello: Update. I am liking the 115gr Montana Gold JHP 9mm bullet. The pistol seems to shoot flatter with the 115's and more powder. I am still playing with 3N37, Silhouette and HS-6. Thanks, Eric
Glockcomma
I just ordered some MG 121s I wish I would have ordered the 115s because I've been using 124s and don't think 3grs will be noticeable. Keep us posted on how the different powders work for you.
Aircooled6racer
Hello: There is a difference between the 124's and the 121's. I can feel the difference so you will as well. One thing I have noticed with the VV 3N37 is that it runs hot and it flattens the primers more than the other two at the same power factor. It is easy to clean the pistol up with it. I will be doing more testing next month after I get more bullets. Thanks, Eric
jwat
Been using Zero 125 JHP's for a few years now in my Bedell shorty and have had no issues and great accuracy. Also using HS-6. Jim
