midvalleyshooter
I am intrigued with the idea of using Airsoft to improve my shooting skills. What pistol should I get? I am shooting a G34 mostly right now. Thanks, Keith

midvalleyshooter
Why not....a G34? OK Duane:) See I know very little about Airsoft. Are the G34 type pistols all made by the same maker? If there is more than one, which is best? Do I need extra mags? What other stuff will I need? Thanks, Keith
Duane Thomas
Here is a link to a thread where a member posted essentially the same question just a few days ago: http://www.brianenos.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=93978 As you what you'll need, I would say at least: - One Airsoft pistol (if you're really serious you'll want at least one backup for the inevitable time(s) when something on the primary gun breaks). - Pellets (20 grains is normal). - Gas (I prefer to get one of the plastic adaptors that allows you to use easily available, inexpensive propane bottles in place of expensive Green Gas). - Silicon oil (for adding to the propane to form de facto Green Gas). - At least a couple of extra mags (unless you don't mind having your training stop on a regular basis as you recharge magazines with pellets and gas - instead you can start with several magazines pre-loaded). Hope that helped.

MichiganShootist
I have a Single Stack Capsian and a G-34. Both came from Manney Bragg..... you can't beat his product knowledge or service Stick to the bio-degradeable pellets and you won't feel obligated to pick them up when shooting utdoors. ranger
I have a G17 clone and a Caspian Hi cap 1911 clone - both from MannyUSA. Absolutely outstanding service. I also use propane.
