We have had rattle snakes in the garage..on the door step driveway ect Mountain Lions in the yard Bobcats and coyotes getting our chickens and ducks One bobcat ate my schnauzer Bears show up now and then Dirt bags have stolen thousands of $$ of antique auto parts from me Home invasions...car jackings...gang bangers ...drug dealers...ect Its best to be armed...and not need it...than not armed and NEED it The places you feel most comfortable...may be the places you Need it MOST. Living IN the rockies, you are in bear country. No cheap azz rubber trash cans for you, fruit trees and veggie gardens are gonna get you a regular front row seat with the local wildlife.
