115 grain 9mm

I am shootig a M and P pro with the 5 inch barrel. has anyone tried to chronograph the remington umc 115 grain ball rounds. I want to shoot this at nationals and am wondering how it will do at the chrono. I dont have access to a chrono. any information will help.

Doesn't help with your M&P, but the Rem/UMC 115 fmj does NOT make minor out of

my 2nd gen G17 with stock barrel.

I have an M&P Pro and I just chrono’d 115gr UMC last Sunday, AVG: 1108.8 / E.S. 34 / S.D. 12.9. This was 5 rounds @ 70 deg.

That's a 126.5 PF... Yikes. I wouldn't trust it.

Thank you guys. Foud a chrono to borrow. I guess about 1150 fps is what I am shooting for?

I got some fed 115 from wally world last week. It went 1160 fps.

I haven't tried rem umc in a while, It did make minor in the 128 range if I remember right. I used the stuff at several majors.

I prefer the CCI stuff, it makes it with plenty of cushion.

I fould some Monarch on the shelf at academy and it was running in the 1170 range. I bought up a bunch for matches. I prefer factory for majors.
