Nik Habicht
My 1911's are only useable with arched main spring housings ---- without them the gun won't index at all. But I still find the transition from the Glock to be significant.
trkychsr
This is a great topic! What exactly are your various dry fire routines ie: how & what exactly do you practice?
Steve Moneypenny
what don't we practice would be the next question, practice draws a lot, transitions a good bit, reloads a lot, drawing while beginning to move, think of every little bitty thing you can see when you shoot and i am sure someone here practices it. i even know one guy who practices unloading to show clear. i am still clueless on WHY he does this. but he does. mcoliver
I used to load the Burner Series vol 5 when doing dry fires. Jerry's comments every now and then provides the rest I need between executions. Then I got a small utility for my palm that provided par times (couldn't afford a real timer yet ) and used it for draws, reloads, target transitions and other combinations. I usually find a par time I'm comfortable with (and with the least possible execution error.) And from time to time I just try to speed things up a bit. BE safe.
