lucas Posted October 27, 2003 Share Posted October 27, 2003 Can buy some that came in with a springfiels M1A gun,but there are no markings of anykind,still the gun store thought they had to be springfield,and they are priced as such,but i'm wondering if, with no markings they most likely are after market junk. The only way I can tell is by the darker parkerizing... the Chinese mags are kind of a light gray, and the U.S.A. mags are blued. If you have a G.I. mag to take along to compair them you will see S.A. mags are real close in quality, but I still prefer BRW, W, or OM marked mags for match use, as I think the heat treating is just plain better than the S.A.s KURT Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
