Graham Smith
Woo hoo! I just got my copy of the complete original Outer Limits series. I know it's kind of dated, but when I was young(er) this was THE BEST thing on television.

SiG Lady
Yeh, sometimes the I-didn't-quite-see-it-coming endings to the episodes would keep your eyes bugged open all night.......
ima45dv8
The hour-long format allowed them to develop stories a bit more than The Twilight Zone (another favorite). I'm looking into this set right now. Thanks for the heads-up, Graham.
Graham Smith
I started watching it this weekend. I'm going to stripe it - one episode a night. The pitiful special effects and rather heavy handed "messages" in the scripts make it difficult to watch them all in a row. But by gawd, it's still a great show. For something that is 45 years old, the stories are just a pertinent today as they were back then - which is probably a really sad commentary on our civilization. For the technophiles... The DVD transfer is pretty good. I'm watching it on a 40" LCD and the picture is quite sharp. My only negative comment is that they used double sided disks to save a few bucks and you need a magnifying glass to see which side is which. Here is a clue, there is some kind of number written on the hub and it is something like 123456-A or 123456-B signifying which side is which.
