DJPoLo
My niece is getting married in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania this October. Can anyone suggest some fun stuff to do in the area? We're arriving on a Thursday and departing the following Wednesday. Fly into Philadelphia? NJ? Other? Our most "open" days will be Sunday - Tuesday. Thanks in advance, -Chet

Want a match? Like Chocolate? Hershey's not too far away.... Want Cabelas? Within an hour or so.... AAA member? Grab their Pennsylvania travel guide --- it's typically chock full of valuable info.....
Jim Norman
OK, If you want to shoot, you can fly into Newark, or Philadelphia if you need a major airline. Many also fly into Allentown (Lehigh Valley International if I remember correctly) There are matches on the first 4 sundays in any month except the dead of winter. You can find IDPA< USPSA Steel and probably something else all within 1-1/2 hours or less from Bethlehem. If you are bringing a gun, you shouldn't have any problems at any of the NJ or PA airports, do stay well away from New York. They apparently don't get it or don't care. Local USPSA clubs: Topton, Guthsville, Central Jersey, Old Bridge. A little further out Chester, York, Factoryville, USANA, Shongum Others can certainly fill you ion on IDPA and Steel (Check out WorldClassSteel.com for Old Bridge Steel Matches) Jim Norman
Xfactor
Nothing in particular going on in town in October that comes to mind... (MusicFest is in August, and Celtic Fest is in September - both are a blast) I grew up in Bethlehem so feel free to PM me if you have any questions about the area. IDPA matches in area are listed here. http://www.nepaidpascores.net/. If you are bringing young children there is the Crayola Factory in Easton, a zoo in Trexlertown and there is a mule drawn canal ride in the area. Please feel free to pm me.
