cpty1
Is there one closer to the East Coast than Lecks in Texas?
Singlestack
I'm pretty sure there is a dealer in Alabama. I will try to verify that for ya.
cpty1
I heard there's one in Mobile, but also that they didn't keep very much in stock.
Jon Merricks
Chris, Let me know what you need and I can get you the 8 case price even on small orders. I can bring them to Georgia State Match to save you shipping if you dont need them before then. A friend of mine is a dealer.
cpty1
That's a very generous offer Jon. Thank you very much. I'll need some prior to the Georgia match however. I've got feelers out to some local shooters hoping to get some help reaching the 8 case minimum. Very few of our shooters here locally use the MGs. I am switching to MG as a result of problems I've had with wrinkled plating with another manufacturer's bullet. I've tried car polish in the media, brass polish in the media, case lube, and am expanding the case mouth well beyond what should be necessary, and still wrinkle the plating 30% of the time. Seems the problem is becoming more and more frequent so it's time to change bullets.

Old Gray Wolf
Have you tried going to their web site http://www.montanagoldbullet.com, they will ship in quantities of 1000 and up.
cpty1
Yeah, been to the website. To get the volume discount/free shipping however, there is a big jump on case order requirements if you're in the east.

cpty1
I'm specifically interested in MG bullets, not West Coast. Been there, done that.
grassy knoll
these things seem to be catching on fast, what is recommended for .40, 180 gr or 200 gr, i heard you have to freebore the barrel for 200 gr bullets in . 40 for a para-ord what about switching back and forth between lead and montana gold, do you have to scrub the barrel before switching between each one? (i do this with copper jacketed)
