hitman_usmc
I was thinking about adding a rail to the 1 o'clock position of my Clark Carbon Fiber forend and mounting a Cmore instead of going with the matt burkett offset mount/jpoint. I was wondering if it were possible to use a glue or epoxy to add a rail to the forend as opposed to drilling through it. Has anyone tried this? What glue epoxy would work best, or is it a waste of time?
mpeltier
I know a little bit about adhesives. I would not want to rely on it (only) to hold a sight on my rifle. I would drill it and thru bolt it. I worked in an industry where I had the occasion to use some very good epoxies and adhesives/tapes etc. All will degrade a bit with time and fail at a higher rate than a simple bolt.
