zhunter
Without more details on what you are looking for, I can offer this: Get Good Magazines. I use Wilson 47DE's
Steve J
What Zhunter said, but I only trust the flawless funtioning of my 1911s to Chip McCormick Power Mags. What we're both saying is bad ammo and bad magazines are the weak link in any auto pistol. Happily spend $25-$35 dollars on each top of the line 1911 magazine and you won't be sorry. rrflyer
Sorry about that. Yeah, equipment. Holsters, 7or8or10 round mags. How many mags. Comp-tac is pretty highly regarded when it comes to holsters and mag pouches. Get 8rd mags and as was previously mentioned get good quality ones. I cant speak highly enough about the Tripp Research Kobra Mags. The Wilson mags are suppost to be very good as well. You'll really need at least 4 mags. 3 topped off with 8 and 1 barney mag so you can load the gun to capacity.

The best you can afford and/or check the forum classifieds. 45ACP for reliabilty. Anything else for slightly lower ammo prices and more reliability headaches. 8-round top of the line magazines. Quality Kydex holster and mag pouches like www.comp-tac.com
