Sandro
Any idea where I can find a thinner front sight for an M&P? Maybe .900? and maybe not as tall as .180? Also, does anyone know what the M&P dovetail dimensions are? Thank you, Sandro
hanexp
I think you can get alternative front sights for the M&P at Speed Shooter Special Specialties, a forum dealer. They list a custom option.

If you don't have the proper tools expect to put a little effort into changing it.
jhe888
Check Dawson and Speed Shooters Specialties. I don't know if they have exactly what you want. I think Speed Shooters may make custom sizes.
David Olhasso
Speed shooters specialties makes .100, .115, & .125 wide variants at .180 and .160 tall. Speed shooters will also make a custom sized siqht if necessary. In addition, they sell the Scott Warrent sight sets and the Dawson precision sights. sperman
Did anyone ever come up with the dovetail dimensions for the M&P? I'm also looking to do something that isn't available "off the shelf."
ParaGunner
They have a 1911 M&P? WOW!
sperman
Maybe on of the M&P gurus can confirm, but this is what I measured. 60 degree dovetail .070" depth .255" wide Has anyone tried cutting a more common dovetail into their slide?
