mactiger Posted January 9, 2009 Share Posted January 9, 2009 Ah, but the relevant rulebook language says that you can checker or stipple as long as you don't change the original profile of the gun, and there are a couple illustrations in appendix E. So, removing material from the sides is ok, and even from the front, but if the profile is changed (like undercutting the trigger guard), then it's not legal. Does that make more sense? Troy I seem to remember JA giving an opinion (can't find it now and it's not listed as a ruling) regarding checkering and stippling in Production. The statement was that it's legal but you can't remove material to do so. I've got stippling down, but has anyone figured out how to checker without removing material?
