abs
I have a 16" Bushmaster M-4 and want to start loading for it. Before anyone gets on thier high horse, I did the search and read all I could. Several questions come to mind still. Is AA2230-S ok for 55grn fmjbt? What charge weight? Do once fired cases generally need trimmed? What do I need for my 650XL with casefeeder? Thanks for your help!
1911user
I'm not familiar with AA2230-S. I am familiar with the standard AA2230 canister rifle powder and the load data is here: http://www.accuratepowder.com/reloading.htm I'm also familiar with a bulk data powder 2230-C from AA that was sold a few years ago: they say to use AA2460 load data for it. Joe D
24.0 gr with a 55 gr FMJ Hornady is one of my favorite loads out of a 16" barrel AR. My AR just stacks bullets on top of each other with this load.
