1050 Unlisted Calibers

I was wondering if any 1050 loaders have loaded calibers that are not listed on Dillon's Conversions.

For instance, my 550 manual shows that 7mm Mag uses the same shell plate as .500 S&W. Even though 7mm Mag is not listed, the .500 S&W is for the 1050. Seems to me that the 1050 could actually load a few more calibers than shown in the manual. Any ideas why they don't list them?

The 1050 shows that it can load the .30-06 with is listed as having an OAL of 3.34in, The 7mm Mag is listed with an OAL 3.29 so I assume it could handle anything up to the OAL of the .30-06. might be worth trying. I'm kind of thinking the case feed adaptors might be the limiting factor though.

For the most part, the demand isn't sufficient to justify creating a conversion kit for these cartridges. Additionally, the 30-06 conversion requires a shortened seat and crimp die. 7mm Remington Magnum would likewise. Unless you have a contract to supply thousands of rounds commercially of these cartridges, the 650 is an easier platform to load these on.
