Jman Posted November 27, 2008 Share Posted November 27, 2008 (edited) Being built on my new lower by Derrick and Marty from Accuracy Speaks at Rio Salado. Simple set up but still pretty cool. A flattop that starts with a 20" 1:8 twist barrel cut down to 18" plus a "Jakenator" Comp. Free float tube. And their trigger... ...NO idea what I'm talking about...yet. I do know I can't wait to shoot! Have about a 8 week wait. All the parts are there but they're BUSY! So y'all leave Marty alone until my guns done. Just kidding about making you wait but I seriously did inquire about an AR today. And yes they are busy. You're going to get a great rifle though. Derrick is an AR genius and has taught Marty well. SharonAnne9x23 Posted November 27, 2008 Share Posted November 27, 2008 The Accuracy Speaks trigger group is awesome! I had one installed about 10 yrs ago. The Jakenator is excellent. Jake made an excellent 45 comp and a 9x23 comp for me. Though Jake is no longer with Accuracy I think it is classy that they still use his name on it. I opted for a used barrel but Marty refurbished beautifully. Recoil? I didn't notice any. Just a pulse sort of. Will get it sighted in 200 yards this week. S#!t what a nice rifle.
